I had a really good Bandcamp Friday this month, and possibly my favourite thing about was this review from Ether Diver on Mastodon.
With a little bit of post rock, a little bit of ambient and a whole lot of creative approach to guitar, James builds enchanting worlds of slippery sound for his Strange Textures podcast. Then he distills moments from that into incredible, time-twisting collections like Universal Dispersal for Bandcamp. Imagine classic Eno ambient refracted through the guitar-centric lens of Tortoise or Explosions in the Sky. Beautiful stuff.
I even screenshot it to keep!
