Now the reshuffle of Season 3 has happened, I'm working on a few things at once:
- Editing the long versions into highlights. That's going better than Season 2 to be honest, I'm not having to do much EQ and glitch correction. What there is though, is a lot of tracks. Looks like I might have 2 triple albums at the moment, but I'll want to give people the option of an abridged version I think. I'm very into this stuff and quite surprised about it!
- I'm treating myself to a custom guitar. I spotted Strandberg pretty much from start up but never actually got into the feel of the neck. I've found somewhere that does something similar body ergonomics-wise but with a neck I'll get on with (and a headstock - Sarah isn't keen on headless asthetics). All custom with things in that I haven't found all together before, I'm hoping it all works out. Haven't quite nailed down the colour yet…
- The first and possibly only introverts tour date is booked - I'll be trying it out to see if I like it. Essentially it's a gig with no audience in a space that should be interesting, I've been talking to a couple of church conservation places and the trial is all booked. I just need to sort out battery power for my gear now…
- I'm back playing and recording with the band. January was a write off because our venue was having work done, but we're getting back into it. Hoping to have recordings to share during the year…
- Finally, I'm moving things around at home and rebuilding my home studio. The plan is to write and record a follow up to Connector - more Chillhop influence maybe - this year.
I was feeling like I wasn't doing a lot, but actually that's quite a bit, isn't it?
